Curbside Theatre or: How to “Hold Fast” During A Pandemic

In March of 2020, as the world shut down it became immediately apparent to me that my art form, live theatre, was also going to be shut down for an indeterminate amount of time as well. Simultaneously, I recognized the suffering of those in my community living in deep isolation and fear. I set out to create a safe way to present live theatre safely in order to engage members of my community the most in need of connection. 

“Curbside Theatre,” as I imagined this concept should be called, would be delivered to the doorsteps of the community–“like pizza delivery, but better for the heart.”
